Google adsense CTR – how to maximize
Many people believe that simply copy and paste the Google Adsense code on your website and start earning an amount huge money from it. What a mistake! I was thinking the same thing two years ago. More Later, I realized that without optimization, is impossible. Here I will share all the tips to increase my Google Adsense CTR that I found on the last two years.
Here are some tips to increase your CTR from Google Adsense:
1. Make sure the ads on your site are closely related to its content. This is the first thing you have to do, because if their ads are not relevant, there is very little chance that people click on it. So what should you do to fix this problem? Here are some tips:
o Create keyword rich content. I suggest creating a theme for a page.
o Check your keyword rich content and make some of your keywords in bold or italic. But do not do too much just made a â € "2 times per page. Otherwise, Google assumes that you are spamming.
o Use the keyword in the title of your page.
Or use H1 HTML tag as the title of its contents, and put your keyword in it. Do not forget to put this tag at the beginning of the content.
o If these tips do not work however, there is only one possibility: There are no ads that match your keyword! You can check this by using this wonderful web site Digital Point tool. It's called Google Adsense Sandbox, and located in Adsense Sandbox.
You will be prompted to enter your selected keyword and display all ads Adsense that is connected with that keyword. What to do if your suspicions are correct? Change the keyword! Do not worry No, sometimes just changing one or two words.
2. Use wide ads (336×280, 300×250 or 250×250). Because they are the best performing ads.
3. Blend your ads with your website themes. For example, if your color background is white, change your ad border and background color and white. If your background color is dark (Black), the use of bright colors such as yellow as the color of the links. This will decrease user ad-blindness.
4. Place your Google Adsense in these positions:
or up top up top is the position at the top of the page that is visible without the visitor having to scroll. This is the best place works for me. I place 336×280 ad unit in this location and it works very well. Why Why? Okay, back to our example. His article is about "How to cook a delicious bread." Someone has found the search engine when it opens first time see ads for "baking" the school "cookbook" or "bread recipes." Who would not be interested?
o In the middle of an article.
This works well if your article is long (more than 500 words). People tend to stop for a moment and look at something different during the reproduction. I suggest using rectangular ads (125×125, 180×150, 300×250 and 336 x 280, 250×250 ad unit) in this regard and left justified.
o At the end of an article.
Many people have said that placing Google Adsense ads at the end of your article tends to work very well. This is because when people finish read an interesting article, usually think: "Well, what next?" This is your chance! Placing Google Adsense ads at the end of this article, people take a minute to read it and then (maybe) click it. For example, you write an article on "How to cook a delicious bread. And at the end of it, there are ads in bread recipes. "Who would not be interested?
5. With respect to the fourth point is not recommended placing three ad units on one page. From my experience, the number of ads that are placed on one page does not affect your CTR. In fact, even placing three text ads on a page my ads "No mix." For example, I put 160×600, 468×60 and 336×280 ads on a single page. You know what? My 468×60 ads only showed three ads on it, then my 336×280 ads only showed two ads in it! My suggestion is: use 1 â € "two ad units and one single link unit on your page (Google allows 3 ad units and one link unit is placed on one page).
6. Always use a block of links! Many people are unaware Link unit each time the format is more profitable if you put in place. Try to place it near your navigation menu. People will misinterpret as a navigation menu and automatically read. If your ads are closely related to their content, there is great possibility that click. I propose the navigation bar one of my websites of the bottom section and replace it with 728×15 link unit ads. You know what? My Google Adsense CTR increased by 200%!
